A-1 Choice Inn

The main reason I’m giving this motel 5 stars all around is because everything was really great for being one of the cheapest rooms in the area. It’s probably the best super-economy motel I’ve stayed at in Shasta. .Everything worked and was generally clean, and I even liked the Hindi vibe-and-decor at the front desk because the clerk was so nice and hospitable.

It's a good no frills motel. Couple of things could be improved, which are wifi that ultimately doesn't work, the coffee maker should be cleaned much better and the heater needs to be replaced (it's crazy loud). Except those three things it's a good place for a short stay in Mt Shasta.

Everything was great. The bed, sheets and pillows were great. Really clean. Only problem was the toilet it was tiny and hard to sit in for someone large like me, but it worked fine.

The exterior is well maintained. The room is older, but clean and we were able to sleep and enjoy the day. The couple owning/managing the hotel were nice and accomodating. The rooms could use some updates but its a good clean safe place

This place was clean and comfortable! However, I would not recommend staying here without earplugs. There is a very loud train that went by at 11:00p, and again at 7:00a on a Sunday morning! From that point on, there was constant commotion outside - I think just people checking out and cleaning, but the walls are paper thin. It's a bummer because I feel like this motel has done a great job otherwise, and it was very quiet at night after 11:00p, but definitely don't expect to sleep in.

This is an average unpretentious Inn in Mount Shasta which serves as a convenient base for visiting the lovely sights around this small town. The rooms were basic and relatively clean. There is a coffee machine and basic toiletries such as hand wash, body wash, shampoo and body lotion are available. A patio outside the room is a good place to have a cuppa or tipple when the weather is right. No restaurants and eating places within the premises but many eating places are available a short drive away. All in all, the place is more about a convenient place in a lovely surrounding!

This is a nice standard family motel. It is clean, close to town, quiet and comfortable. The room also includes a microwave and small refrigerator and has plenty of parking. I recommend patronizing this family motel. The view of Mt. Shasta is what you will open your door to or see when you look out your window. We are yearly clients that stay here for two weeks while visiting friends. We have never been disappointed.

This place is really quiet where you will be able to snuggle in for a good night's sleep. Prices on priceline are very fair and room availability (in April) was good. The hosts are friendly and the place was clean. Within a short walking distance to restaurants, shops, and stunning views.
